Use a scanner to capture photo images
How to use a Scanner
Watch the slideshow on the basics of how to use a scanner - http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-use-a-scanner.pageCd-storyboard,pageNum-2.html#slideshow
Your scanner and scanner software might look a bit different to the ones in the slideshow, but the basic ways of working will be the same.
Read the following information about using a scanner http://www.bbc.co.uk/webwise/guides/using-a-scanner.
Activity: Take some old printed photos you have at home and scan them in to the computer. Save them in a file that is in order of the time they were taken. All images should be saved as .jpg (read about the difference between a .gif and a .jpg here)
