.

In Analysing and Presenting Argument you will look at articles in the media which are designed to influence us. You will learn about the process of doing an impartial descriptive analysis of a range of media articles. You will also learn about developing and performing your own persuasive presentations.

Requirements

You must have access to the Internet in order to access this course.

Things to think about

To experience success with English it is important to read every day – as much and as widely as possible – and not only what is required within the course. This will help you to strengthen all aspects of your language skills and let you see how other people express themselves. It is also important to take notice of current affairs and discuss your ideas with others.

We are very aware that you will have a number of commitments and will therefore need to have balance in your life. You will be required to devote a number of hours to your studies in order to have the opportunity to succeed and enjoy your accomplishments, so it is highly recommended that you start thinking about how you will plan to successfully allocate your time once the semester starts.
